FirePro (Qld), operating as Fire Professionals Pty Ltd was established in 1995.

Through the tragic loss of a fellow fire protection sprinkler fitter, the two principals established a company based on strong core values to ensure a secure future in a life saving industry.

This passionate beginning has seen FirePro (Qld) develop into the largest fire protection installation labour force in Queensland and become one of the leaders in fire protection training with a thorough commitment to apprenticeships. In an era of forced subcontracting and fewer companies maintaining full time employees, FirePro (Qld) has continued to ensure maximum benefits to tradesmen on the tools, along with major commitment to industry training.

Trades Monitor

TradesMonitor FirePro (Qld) has recently been audited and assessed by the renown independent evaluators of contractors assessment body - Trades Monitor. This provides our clients with assurance that our policies, procedures and work methods meet all safety compliance requirements of Legislation, Acts and Regulations by means of an Assessment Process which includes, but is not restricted to:

- Reviewing the Contractors OHS system, procedures, documentation and implementation
- Evaluation of the Risk Assessment Process and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)/ Job Safety Analysis (JSA) of the contractor
- Evidence of employee training in OHS and Contractor Safety procedures
- Evaluation of a "Site Safety Plan" and its implementation for Principal Contractors or larger organisations
- Evaluating the process of managing works that require use of Permits
- Evidence of Accident and Injury reporting and management
- Evaluation of Hazardous Chemical contractor safety standards
